Elmwood Village Association Neighborhoods Committee
Mission Statement

The Neighborhoods Committee of the Elmwood Village Association supports and coordinates the efforts of neighborhood leaders, community organizations, and City entities to enhance the quality of life for residents of the Elmwood Village.

Our goal is increased community safety, enhanced neighborhood health and aesthetics, responsible property stewardship, and government accountability.

We help residents with the problems that thwart these objectives, and provide the information, resources, and advocacy that foster and sustain strong, vital city neighborhoods.

Results will be shared at a town hall meeting at the Unitarian Church (Elmwood and Ferry) on February 19 at 7pm.

Elmwood Village Housing Court Liaison

The Elmwood Village now has its own Buffalo Housing Court Liaison in the person of Lynn King. To learn more about Lynn, click here. Liaisons represent the neighborhood's interest when a problem property one associated with code violations, blight, or crime comes before the Court.

We want to identify the most serious problem properties in need of inspection and possible legal action in the Elmwood Village. You can help by contacting Lynn (lynnk1234@yahoo.com) with any properties of serious concern to you and your neighborhood.
And for more information, read our FAQ - Inspections, Property Research and Buffalo Housing Court.
